Brainly Interactive Learning Experience
Business Case
Role: I led both research and design and facilitated workshops to drive collaboration and innovation within our team.
01.Situation
Students are struggling to study effectively, leading to significant learning gaps, intensified by the challenges of remote learning during the pandemic.
Traditional methods of learning, and seeking help weren't sufficiently addressing these gaps, resulting in frustration and disengagement among students.
02.Task
As a key player in the Brainly team, my role was to lead research and design efforts to develop an innovative solution addressing these challenges. The goal was to create an interactive learning experience that not only provided answers but also facilitated deeper understanding, engagement, and personalized learning for students.
03.Actions
Research and Analysis:
Extensive desk research.
Leveraging Brainly generative research.
Identified key challenges with learning: COVID learning gap, dull teachers, lack of motivation, personalization, peer support, and interrupted learning time.
Design Vision and Prototyping:
Crafted a detailed design vision and user flow diagrams to visualize the proposed solution.
Solution Conceptualization:
Changing the core user action from asking to being asked and guided.
Concept built on 5 pillars: math, safety, personalization, guidance, and peer interaction.
Leverage AI and the largest online learning community.

Early Indicators, Market, Competition:
Evidence for Math and Mathsolver as a good choice for innovation and business opportunity.
Differentiation from the competition: focus on real user goals and guidance, positive reinforcement, and positive peer interaction.
Collaboration and Workshops:
Facilitated workshops and collaborated with cross-functional leads to brainstorm “How might we” solve users’ problems.
Ensured alignment and integration of insights and ideas.

04.Results
Positive Reception: The leadership at Brainly positively received our ideas, leading to the incorporation of key components into the Brainly AI Solution.
Engaging AI-Assisted Experiences: While the solution wasn't implemented in its original form, Brainly users today can immerse themselves in engaging AI-assisted experiences, including exam preparations.
Impactful Learning: The innovative approach led to increased student engagement, reduced learning gaps, and a more supportive learning environment, ultimately enhancing the overall learning experience for Brainly users.
Long-term Vision: The success of this project laid the groundwork for further innovation and integration of AI technologies into Brainly's platform, aligning with the company's vision for personalized and interactive learning experiences.
In summary, through collaborative efforts and innovative design thinking,
we were able to address pressing challenges in math learning, paving the way for
a more engaging and effective learning experience on the Brainly platform.
